Finanzierung-Guenstiger comes from the same team as strom-guenstiger.de and gas-guenstiger.de — founded by Tim Jungeblut while he was still at school doing his Abitur, and now run together with his co-founder Max.

Tim Jungeblut — Founder

I founded the comparison portals strom-guenstiger.de and gas-guenstiger.de while I was still doing my Abitur. My motivation is to help people cut their running costs without any fuss. With a loan, more is at stake than with energy: a repayment runs for years, and the advertised interest rate is almost never the one you actually get.

Max Jungeblut — Co-founder and Head of Sales

As co-founder, I helped build strom-guenstiger.de and gas-guenstiger.de from the very beginning. Today my focus is on sales and on working with our partners.

Our editorial guideline

We translate loan offers into four figures you can check: amount, repayment, term and total cost. Every calculator page discloses its formula — including what it leaves out. That includes the rights under German consumer credit law (Verbraucherdarlehensrecht) that never appear in an interest rate comparison: withdrawal, early repayment at any time, capped early repayment compensation (Vorfälligkeitsentschädigung) and the two-thirds rule that an advertised example is bound by. What we do not do: arrange loans, assess creditworthiness or give investment advice.

Thinkstars GmbH operates consumer portals, each on a separate topic. What they share is data-minimising tools, visible partner roles, reliable sources and an understandable methodology. In every case, the market comparison is supplied by our cooperation partner Verivox. No loan application is created with us: the calculators run in your browser, and nothing is sent to a bank or to a credit bureau.
